Rules Of Play
The club operates under the BTBA rules of play as
well as some local rules and guidelines of the club which are below.
- Maker sure you arrive
on time (10:00am start)
- No playing on any of
the gaming and entertainment machines until league play has completed
- When arriving, find your
lane and get yourself ready for practice. Practice will finnish at 10:15am prompt,
make the time count and use it wisely
- Enter your name and handicap
into the scoring system while in the practice period
- Late arrival
bowlers will be allowed 5 frames before blind score is entered.
- Food and drink is to
be kept out of the seating area and away from the approach at all times
- Meals are not to be ordered
or eaten during league play

No chewing gum at any time
- No use of Mobile phones,
MP3 Players, Walkmans whilst league play is in progress
- No sitting on the backs
of the seats in the seating area
- Dress code to be observed
at all times
- Calculators and pens
will be provided for you to complete the score sheets prior to handing them in at
the end of league play along with the calculator and pen. (Calculators are numbered
to each lane)
- Parents and friends are
not allowed in the seating area during league play
- All bowling bags, shoes
and other attire to be paced under the seat during league play to prevent any trips
of falls.
- Observe lane etiquette
at all time.

No running or general horse play
- If you need help with a problem, no matter how big or
small it is, then ask for assistance from an instructor or helper. All instructors
or helpers are the adults dressed in the club attire. Please be patient and help
will arrive as soon as practical
- Instructors and helpers
to be informed if you are leaving the bowling area
- Wait until all players
on your lanes have completed bowling before packing away your own equipment
- No bad language or abuse
of the centre equipment or staff will be tolerated at any time
- Encourage your friends
to join the H&BYBC
- Last but NOT lease -
SMILE AT ALL TIMES
Failure to follow the above rules and guidelines may
cause you to incur a deduction of 5 penalty points per game (15 points overall)
